Get Help Accessing Social Services Electronically

Progressive Options has a free training workshop Thursday, January 26 on accessing social services and assistance electronically. It is open to volunteers, caregivers and private agency case workers or caregivers. Representatives from the Dial 2-1-1 and Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) systems will provide the training and answer questions. The free training is from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Newport (SW 9th and Hurbert – accessibility entrance on Hurbert.) Anyone in need of immediate help with those systems can get it on a drop-in basis at the Progressive Options Office (611 SW Hurbert Street), Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For information, call Progressive Options at 541-265-4674 or email.
